The lineage

175+ years. Five generations. One discipline.

Astrology is not something this family took up. It is something the family has carried, father to son, for more than a century and a half. Acharya Hari Sharma is its fifth custodian.

The inheritance

What actually passes down?

Manuscripts

Panchangs

Instruments

Drawn, not photographed. What passes down this family is working material rather than heirlooms. Leaf manuscripts copied by hand, panchangs corrected generation after generation, and the instruments used to read them.

Prashna, the rare art

Answering a specific question from the chart of the moment it is asked. Very few in the world still practise it. In this family it never lapsed.

Manuscripts and method

Working notes, panchangs, and methods preserved and corrected across generations. A private literature that no course can teach.

The discipline of honesty

A family rule older than any certificate. Say what the chart shows, including when it shows nothing.
