An engineer's mind in a fifth-generation seat

He read charts from 1984 for family and friends, though not professionally, while the first half of his working life ran somewhere else entirely. There was Judo at international level with two years of training in Japan, an MBA from the International Management Institute in New Delhi, and a long climb through corporate finance at HCL to General Manager.

He served some years in that seat. In 2012 he stepped down and took up his father's work full time, the fifth generation to hold it. The result is a consulting style that business owners recognise at once. It is specific, time bound, and free of vague mysticism, and he will as readily tell you what a chart does not support.

He learned Sanskrit and Vedic ritual from his father, from family elders, and at the Sanskrit Academy, and he recites Vedic mantras and Rudri. He has presented research papers at astrology conferences in India and abroad, and he serves on the research faculty of the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences in Delhi.
